Not sure which assessment type you need?

Call us. A member of our team will review your file and tell you exactly what you need — no forms required to start that conversation.

Common questions about REI's assessment process.

How does REI match a specialist to my file?

We review the clinical requirements of the referral — injury type, body system, jurisdictional requirements — and identify the most appropriate assessor from our credentialed network. If you have a preference or a prior assessor relationship, tell us.

What's the typical turnaround time from referral to report?

REI targets 4–6 weeks from referral to delivered assessment. Timelines vary by specialty and region. Contact us directly for time-sensitive files.

Can REI conduct assessments for both plaintiff and defense counsel?

Yes. REI works with both sides of the bench. Our assessors are independent and their reports are defensible in court regardless of which party submits the referral.

What regions are your physicians available in?

REI covers all Canadian provinces. For regions where local specialists are limited, we deploy traveling evaluators — credentialed physicians who come to the location.
